Craft Days
Come along a spend a day crafting in the beautiful surroundings of the Teign Valley.
During the day you will get to try the fun and slightly addictive craft of macrame and make a pretty macrame feather wall hanging and then using different knots and techniques create a fab macrame bag. You will also learn the mindful craft of bargello needlepoint and create a drink coaster and you will leave with the materials and pattern to continue this craft at home and create three more coasters for a matching set.
The venue is the beautiful Old Walls Vineyard, located in the village of Bishopsteignton in South Devon. The craft day will be held in their upstairs function room, which is located above the restaurant, the room has views over the Teign Valley and there is a lift to the upstairs room. The crafting day is on Sat 21st Jan 23 from 10am-4.30pm and Sat 11th Mar 23 from 10am-4.30pm.
The retreat will be lead by me, Lyndsey. I am a qualified adult teacher and have been running craft workshops and parties for the last 10 years. All of the projects are perfect for crafting and macrame beginners.
The cost of the day is £80 which includes all materials, equipment, tuition, lunch and refreshments.
Dietary Requirements:
The lunch will be prepared in the Old Walls Vineyard Restaurant. Specific dietary requirements can be catered for, please let me know when booking if you have any dietary requirements.
Accommodation:
If you need accommodation in the area, the venue has several self-contained lodges nestled at the bottom of the fully operational vineyard looking up to the vines on the south facing slopes above. Each lodge has an equipped kitchen, lounge and dining area, bathroom, double room and twin room. Along with a front veranda, rear patio and parking. Cancellations:
If you are unable to attend the craft day and wish to cancel your booking you will need to contact me either by email or phone 1 week before the craft day to receive a full refund. If you contact me less than a week before the day unfortunately, I am unable to offer a refund but I can transfer your booking to a future date.
